Not only will 90% of our packaging be recyclable or biodegradable by the end of 2020, but from the very beginning, we have based our brand on ethical values!

Many of our packages are already made from sustainable materials. In 2020, we continue to reduce plastic use and increase recyclability, decrease the amount of virgin plastics, and wherever possible, use alternative packaging materials. As part of our progress, all paper and cardboard we use are FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council), which ensures forest sustainability.

All of our products are developed in California, where the level of environmental and consumer protection ranks among the highest in the world.

Did you know?

Our UltraCalming line, primarily designed for sensitive skin, is also gluten-free! It contains avenanthramides, which are mainly found in oat leaves. They have strong antioxidant effects and have been used for centuries to soothe itchy and irritated skin.

The three main avenanthramides in oats consist of hydroxyanthranilic acid and either ferulic, coumaric, or caffeic acid. The avenanthramide containing caffeic acid has the highest antioxidant capacity. Besides direct antioxidant effects, avenanthramides can stimulate enzymes that protect the body from oxidative damage.
