What is ProClear?

ProClear is a professional skin treatment designed to combat acne and inflammatory skin concerns that affect not only teenagers but also adults. Whether you are dealing with clogged pores, blackheads and whiteheads, inflammatory breakouts, or post-inflammatory pigmentation, ProClear offers a solution tailored to your skin's specific needs.

The treatment is available in several variations, which the therapist adapts to the current condition of your skin. It is suitable for mild forms of acne, such as small breakouts caused by irritation, stress, or cosmetics, as well as moderate to severe forms of acne, including inflammatory lesions, comedones, pustules, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

What does the treatment involve?

Double cleansing and skin analysis

The ProClear treatment always begins with a thorough double cleanse. First, PreCleanse is applied to dry skin to dissolve makeup and excess sebum. This is followed by a Face Mapping analysis, which helps precisely determine the type of acne, the degree of inflammation, and the appropriate treatment approach. The therapist then selects a suitable cleansing gel according to your skin type – Active Clay Cleanser for congested skin, Skin Resurfacing Cleanser for skin with pigmentation, or UltraCalming Cleanser for sensitive and inflamed skin. If needed, a sonic cleansing brush or ultrasonic spatula may be used (omitted for sensitive skin).

Extraction

If the condition of the skin allows, blackheads and whiteheads are extracted. Multi-Active Scaling Gel is applied to congested areas to soften the pores and prepare the skin for manual or device-assisted cleansing. After extraction, Post Extraction Solution is applied to soothe the skin and provide an antiseptic effect. In cases of more severe inflammation, extraction may be replaced by the application of high-frequency current, which helps reduce inflammation and accelerate healing.

Exfoliation and targeted treatment

The next stage is exfoliation, during which One Step Prep is applied to degrease the skin and prepare it for active acids. For most skin types, PowerClear Peel is ideal – a peel designed for acne-prone skin that combines 2% salicylic acid, 10% mandelic acid, and 15% malic acid. For skin with pigmentation, PowerClear can be combined with or layered with UltraBright Peel. After the acids have acted, their effect is safely neutralized using Neutralizing Solution. For very sensitive skin, the gentler lactic-acid-based Exfoliant Accelerator 35 is used.

Soothing and regeneration

In the next stage, the skin is soothed and its regeneration is supported. The therapist selects a suitable serum – most commonly Niacinamide IonActive Serum, which helps reduce inflammation and redness. For skin with post-inflammatory pigmentation, PowerBright IonActive Serum is used to help even out the skin tone. Finally, a mask is applied according to the skin's current needs: Clinical Oatmeal Masque for sensitive and inflamed skin, Conductive Masque Base to enhance the effect of the serum, or MultiVitamin Power Recovery Masque to support skin renewal. At this stage, device-based technologies may also be incorporated, such as microcurrent, galvanic iontophoresis, or blue LED light (only with cleansing masks).

Dermal layering and final care

The treatment ends with final dermal layering. A toner is applied, followed by a moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Essential UV protection is also applied to protect the skin after the treatment and help prevent worsening pigmentation or the development of new inflammation.
