What is ProClear?

ProClear is a professional skin treatment designed to combat acne and inflammatory conditions affecting not only teenagers but adults as well. Whether it’s clogged pores, blackheads, whiteheads, inflammatory pimples, or post-inflammatory pigmentation – ProClear offers a solution tailored to your skin’s specific needs.

The treatment has several variations that the therapist adapts according to the current condition of your skin. It’s suitable for mild acne manifestations, such as small pimples caused by irritation, stress, or cosmetics, but also for moderate to severe acne forms, including inflammatory lesions, comedones, pustules, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

How does the treatment proceed?

Double cleansing and skin analysis

The ProClear treatment always begins with thorough double cleansing. First, PreCleanse is applied to dry skin to dissolve makeup and excess oil. Then, Face Mapping analysis helps precisely identify acne type, inflammation level, and select the correct treatment variation. The therapist then chooses the appropriate cleansing gel according to skin type – Active Clay Cleanser for congested skin, Skin Resurfacing Cleanser for pigmented skin, or UltraCalming Cleanser for sensitive and inflamed skin. If needed, a sonic brush or ultrasound spatula may be used (omitted for sensitive skin).

Extraction

If the skin condition allows, blackhead and whitehead extraction is performed. Multi-Active Scaling Gel is applied to congested areas to soften pores and prepare the skin for manual or device cleansing. After extraction, Post Extraction Solution is applied to soothe the skin and act antiseptically. In severe inflammation cases, extraction may be replaced by high-frequency current application to reduce inflammation and speed healing.

Exfoliation and treatment of affected areas

Next is the exfoliation phase, where One Step Prep is applied to degrease the skin and prepare it for active acids. For most skin types, PowerClear Peel is ideal – a peel designed for acne-prone skin that combines 2% salicylic acid, 10% mandelic acid, and 15% malic acid. For pigmented skin, PowerClear can be combined or layered with UltraBright Peel. After the acids act, their effect is safely neutralized with Neutralizing Solution. For very sensitive skin, a gentler Exfoliant Accelerator 35 based on lactic acid is used.

Soothing and regeneration

In the next phase, the skin is soothed and regeneration is supported. The therapist selects a suitable serum – most often Niacinamide IonActive Serum, which reduces inflammatory signs and redness. For skin with post-inflammatory pigmentation, PowerBright IonActive Serum is used to help even out skin tone. Finally, a mask is applied based on current needs: Clinical Oatmeal Masque for sensitive and inflamed skin, Conductive Masque Base to boost serum effect, or MultiVitamin Power Recovery Masque for skin restoration. Device technologies such as microcurrent, galvanic iontophoresis, or blue LED light may be used here (only with cleansing masks).

Dermal layering and final care

The treatment ends with final dermal layering. A facial toner and a suitable moisturizer according to skin type are applied. Essential is UV protection to shield the skin after treatment and prevent worsening pigmentation or new inflammation.
